JpMorgan recruits top fintech, banking talent for London UX

JPMorgan Chase & Co. is fortifying its User Experience (UX) team in London by tapping into the talent pool of both fintech startups and established banking giants like Goldman Sachs. The demand for UI and UX designers and researchers has surged in recent years, with London emerging as a hub of top-tier talent in this domain. Recognizing this trend, JPMorgan is strategically expanding its UX division in the British capital.

Ross Breadmore, formerly the Chief Product Officer at 4G Capital, an African B2B digital bank, has been appointed as an Executive Director (ED) at JPMorgan this week. With extensive experience in product development at Lloyds Bank and fintech unicorn Thought Machine, Breadmore brings a wealth of expertise to his new role. Breadmore’s appointment follows the recent addition of Lorisa Dubuc, who joined JPMorgan in February as an Executive Director focusing on user research for developer experience. Dubuc, a seasoned professional with five years of experience at Goldman Sachs, previously served as the global head of user research at the investment bank.

Moreover, JPMorgan has bolstered its team at the Vice President (VP) level by recruiting Lulu Yin, a PhD UX researcher, earlier this month. Yin, who previously worked at fintech firm With. Intelligence, specializing in data and analytics services for asset managers, adds depth to JPMorgan’s UX research capabilities. Despite these recent hires, JPMorgan continues its recruitment drive for UX professionals in the UK. The bank currently has four open positions, including an associate and VP roles in London, as well as a UX Design Lead position in its Bournemouth office.

JPMorgan’s concerted efforts to strengthen its UX team underscore the growing importance of user-centric design in the financial services industry and its commitment to delivering exceptional digital experiences to its clients. With the fintech and banking landscape evolving rapidly, firms like JPMorgan are strategically investing in top talent to stay ahead in the competitive market. As the demand for seamless digital experiences continues to surge, the role of UX professionals is becoming increasingly vital in shaping the future of finance.
